The Mentor Coach

Influence the way to results

This programme is ideal for those who are experienced in business and have a desire to help others who are less experienced achieve more through the process of mentorship. It is designed to train and upskill the mentor in the art of coaching to optimise time in assisting and provide a structure to facilitate it.


This is a 2 day programme and the minimum standards for this programme are as follows:

Home Study:                                                            30 hours. 

Contact Training Time: 16 hours.

Test: 2 hours.


On completion of the programme the Business Performance Coach will be able to demonstrate the relevant level of competence in:

  • The components of performance.

  • The principles of ownership.

  • Motivation and focus.

  • The hurdles of performance.

  • Changing a negative mindset.

  • Measuring progress.

  • Creating meaningful goals.

  • Use of feedback for focus and motivation.

  • Action Planning.

  • The Mentor in action.

  • Establishing/Renewing Permission and Rapport.

  • Measuring sensory responses.

  • Forming the Mentoring relationship.

  • Working within professional boundaries.

  • The ethics of Coaching and Mentoring.

  • The concept of dissonance.

  • Establishing a baseline measurement.

  • Determining the level of need.

  • The Bio/Psycho/Social Model.

  • Bypassing critical resistance within the Coachee.


During the programme all delegates can expect to receive one to one coaching as part of the programme.

The programme caters for all learning styles and includes theory affirmed by Coaching practice.
